Thank you for taking the time to recognize an outstanding woman in business.

As the nominator, you are asked to provide a brief overview explaining why you believe this individual is an outstanding candidate and how they have inspired, motivated, or influenced you or others. Please include specific examples that demonstrate how they meet the award criteria.

You may nominate an individual in any category where you believe they exemplify the values and characteristics of that award. Please note: An individual may be nominated in multiple categories; however, they can only be recognized as a Luminary in one category within a given year.

We strongly encourage you to speak with the nominee before submitting your nomination.

Once your nomination is received, the Peterborough + Kawarthas Chamber of Commerce will invite the nominee to submit a full application package.  Please note that self - nominations will not be accepted with the exception of the Barrier Buster category. We encourage and accept self-nominations for this category ONLY.

To support nominees, the Peterborough+Kawartha Chamber will host an orientation session for nominees that outlines the process, reviews the award criteria, and answers any questions. We hope that this will provide nominees with the information they need to make a complete and informative submission. In the interest of fairness and transparency, only questions submitted through this session will be addressed. The session may be recorded or transcribed for those unable to attend. The nomination period will close on January 26th, 2026 at 5pm.

Please note that late submissions will not be accepted. All nomination materials must be received by the published deadline.
